Kojo Kamara
Kojo Kamara is an actor, writer and Saxophonist. He is in the cast of Coming To England.
His credits include: The Outlaws (BBC1); The Beast Must Die (Britbox); There She Goes (BBC2) and King Lear (National Theatre). As a writer, he was shortlisted for the Royal Court Writers Group, works for the charity InterACT Stroke Support, was a mentee on the Africa in London Mentoring scheme.
His vision is to become a published playwright developing stories for TV/cinema/stage which celebrate unheard voices from his African heritage. These will be fresh and unapologetic, showcasing the ‘light and shade of Africa’. – Kojo is a proud Anthropology geek.
