Take Part in an Exciting Theatre Project
Birmingham Rep and The New Art Gallery Walsall invite you to join us for an exciting project for those aged 14 to 18 to create a new piece of theatre.
This project is supported by our Creative Learning Team, who work to create educational, exciting and empowering projects. You will develop, rehearse, and perform this project at The New Art Gallery Walsall. It runs across three days during the February half-term (Tue 21 – Thu 23 Feb) and is free, allowing everyone to get involved.
During the project you’ll discover the amazing collection at the gallery, and use these as inspiration to transform into a piece of performance!
On Tue 21 Feb you will go to The New Art Gallery Walsall at 11am. After being shown around by gallery staff, you will start to transform what you have seen into performance (11am – 3pm).
The following day, Wed 22 Feb, will be at Birmingham Rep working with professional theatre-makers to turn your ideas into a reality (10am – 3pm).
Finally, on Thu 23 Feb, you will return to the gallery to share your piece in and around the gallery (1pm – 3pm).
